Seminar/Workshop sensory analysis using the Heracles e-nose
The seminar will show how sensory analysis can be used for the distinction of different products that are otherwise close in their sensory properties.
Coffee is a good example – we will provide and discuss data that was acquired on our own Heracles instrument.Other examples of the use of the AlphaMOS sensory analysis instrumetns will be provided:
1) The HERACLES E-nose with measurements based on gas chromatography
2) The IRIS electronic eye based on color and light intensity
3) The ASTREE electronic tongoue based on electrochemical sensors mimicking one or more of the taste characteristics: sourness, saltuness, sweetness, bitterness and umami.
for quality control and off-flavor analysis will also be provided.

Christian er ph.d. fra Københavns Universitet (kemi) med mangeårig erfaring i analytisk kemi i laboratorier hos private virksomheder, herunder chromatografi og massespektrometri. Christian har desuden arbejdet med opbygning og indretning af analyselaboratorier.
